This week we are invited to pray for the 5 Sisters of St. Joseph of Cuneo ministering in Cameroon. They serve in schools, parishes, and prisons, empowerment of women, visiting persons with physical challenges, and in AIDS programs. This week are invited to pray for the 22 Sisters and 40 Associates who minster in Burkina Faso. They are from the congregations of Aosta Italy, Springfield USA, and Lyon France. The Sisters’ work includes: retreat centres, hostel for girls, schools, social centre with clinic, educational and nutritious centre, pastoral work and an orphanage. This week we are invited to pray for the 525 Sisters, and 924 Associates who minster in Brazil. Their home Congregations are: Chambéry, Cuneo, Pinerolo, Concordia, Rochester, San Giuseppe and their works include: education, health care, Indigenous groups, agriculture, leadership formation, pastoral care, companioning street people, empowerment of women. We particularly remember this month the Latin American Network of Sisters (from South America and the Caribbean)who will be meeting in Brazil. Our Sr. Gloria Muchaypiňa Salhuana from Chincha, Peru (from the CSJ in Canada congregation) will be in attendance.
