The World Day for Consecrated Life was instituted by Pope John Paul II in 1997 as a day: “to celebrate the gift of consecrated life; to pray for those who have devoted their lives to the Lord; to highlight the role of religion in society and to call attention to the need for new vocations.”
Loving God, Jesus our teacher, Holy Spirit of justice,
Bless our CSJ community, our families and benefactors.
We have answered your call in so many ways.
Help us to continue to grow in your love.
Help us to always see you in all the goodness of your creation.
May every step we take lead us to you.
Help us, dear God, to live up to our vocation.
and to help you in the building of a community of Love.
Amen
Thank you to Sr. Pat Carter and the Vocation-Animation Committee for this prayer and reflection.
